The AS-V pants have a new anatomical shield design construction for a better fit and more comfortable pant. The D3O Lite smart material found throughout these pants works by using a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely in standard conditions, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. But on impact, like a body check or blocked shot, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate impact energy.
